acrosszones provides a time zone converter as a mobile app and as a website at acrosszones.com. This policy explains what information the app and the site handle. The short version: we don't collect personal data, there are no accounts, and we don't track you.

Information we collect

None. The app doesn't ask for, collect, transmit, or store any personal information. There are no user accounts and no sign-in.

Settings stored on your device

To remember your preferences between sessions, the app saves a small amount of data locally on your device: the cities you've selected, the number of columns, your chosen time and date, the 12- or 24-hour format, and your language. On the website the same preferences are kept in your browser's local storage.

This data never leaves your device and is never sent to us or to anyone else. You can clear it at any time by deleting the app, or by clearing your browser data for the website.

Analytics, cookies, and advertising

We don't use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or third-party SDKs, and we don't use cookies for tracking. The website uses your browser's local storage only to remember the preferences described above.

How your information is shared

Because we don't collect personal data, we have nothing to sell or share. We don't share, sell, or rent personal information to anyone.

Third-party services

When you download the app from the Apple App Store, Apple may collect information under its own privacy policy as part of distributing the app and handling any purchases. That data is processed by Apple, not by us. The website is served by standard web hosting, which may process basic technical request data such as your IP address transiently in order to deliver pages; we don't use this to identify you.

Data security

Your preferences are stored only on your own device using the operating system's standard storage. We don't run any database of personal information about you, so there's nothing on our side to be exposed.

Children's privacy

The app is suitable for all ages and doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Your rights

Since we don't hold any personal data about you, there's nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. You stay in full control of the locally stored preferences and can remove them at any time as described above.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app or the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
